I've been thinking the size of the images that should be used to avoid slow loading of the image & the server....

here the size:

avatar: 100x100 size 32 kb
signature: 500x150 size 35kb

for the big size:

banners:any kind of size=used imageshack thumbnails
wallpapers:800x600 or 1024x800=used imageshack thumbnails

attachment an image:

attach:500x300 size 30kb
